Salute to Leadership

Considered by many to be the best - and most fun - events in town, Salute to Leadership honors those in our community who have provided their leadership and resources to improve the lives of the homeless. A first-class evening which features a cocktail reception, live and silent auctions, dinner and awards presentation.

An awards luncheon to highlight the contributions of BPHI’s dedicated and inspiring volunteers, held during National Volunteer Week with BPHI joining millions of organizations across the country that are thanking and celebrating the good works of their volunteers.
Golfathon

You can be a scratch golfer or a hacker and still have a great time on the course while you help the homeless. In this fast paced game each golfer is challenged to raise $2,000 by playing 36 holes of golf and getting friends and colleagues to pledging an amount for each hole played. ONLY 36 players are allowed to play. It’s easy.. it’s meaningful.. and it’s fun!
Chefs Helping the Homeless

A one-of-a-kind dining experience - Guests attend VIP cocktail reception and silent auction and are then whisked away in a private limo to an undisclosed restaurant. Only the chauffeur knows where they are going for dinner!
Breakfast for Champions of the Homeless

Celebrity waiters work for tips at this popular downtown breakfast event held at the Homeless Assistance Center’s dining room. Co-sponsored by the Downtown Council of the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
